1/30/12- ALMT-MN Legislative Update #01
Hello ALMT member:
This past fall has brought a few changes to the ALMT-MN. Jeremy Miller, AMTA-MN Government Relations Chair has turned over the ALMT-MN Chair position to Rachel Romanelli. The ALMT-MN website underwent an update and the ALMT committee changed and grew too. All current updates can be viewed on the ALMT-MN website www.almtmn.org.
2012 Legislative Session
The 2012 Legislative session began on January 24th,2012. The AMTA-MN has a bill that they are preparing to introduce this session. This bill will be posted on the ALMT website when introduced.
As this session moves forward you as an ALMT member will receive legislative e-mail updates to let you know how the bill is progressing and how you can support the bill. In each e-mail you will receive information on including which committee that the bill is in, hearing dates and a list of legislators to contact.

Please look at the new and easy registration page on the website, if you have co-workers, colleagues that want current information on legislative activities, please direct them to the ALMT website.

2012 Legislative Session
The 2012 Legislative session began on January 24th, 2012. The AMTA-MN has a bill that they are preparing to introduce this session. Jeremy Miller, AMTA-MN Government Relations Chair has been working this session on getting the bill introduced and assigned a bill number. If you have questions you may always e-mail Jeremy Miller at jmillergrc@gmail.com.
As the AMTA updates information the ALMT will update all current legislative activities and postings that are occurring as well.
